Within the “ProceduralNaturePack” is a spline called the “MasterRiverSpline”. This spline allows me to create flowing water as well as waterfalls. Through the details tab shown below I can control how much tiling is in the river as well as its speed and angle.
Above is one of the rivers I created with the spline, the only problem I had with these is that the rivers can’t split into different directions, which caused me to create a separate spline for the split. This wouldn’t usually be a problem with normal meshes, however the splines were flat, which made it difficult to merge them to look natural.
The waterfalls were simple enough to achieve, however some of the sections needed adjustment in size to not protrude from the landscape.
